All payments made toward a project — including deposits, milestone payments, and payments in full — are non-refundable once received, regardless of the stage of the project, unless otherwise stated in writing in the specific Proposal governing that engagement.
A client may request to cancel a project at any time by contacting us in writing. Cancellation does not entitle the client to a refund of any payments already made. Any work completed up to the point of cancellation remains subject to the ownership terms described in our Terms of Service for that deliverable type.
For projects delivered as a platform-hosted build (see Terms of Service), if a client cancels, discontinues an engagement, or stops paying any applicable ongoing hosting or maintenance fees, access to the hosted application will end. Where feasible, we will offer a reasonable data export prior to ending access, on a best-effort basis. This is not guaranteed in all cases, depending on the underlying platform's capabilities.
We do not currently offer standard exceptions to this policy. Any exception would need to be agreed to in writing on a case-by-case basis.
If you have questions about a specific project's payment terms, refer to your signed Proposal first, as it governs the specifics of that engagement. For general questions, contact saasoftware.reid@gmail.com or (615) 982-0770.
